MercerTrigiani provides legislative counsel to the Virginia Legislative Action Committee of Community Associations Institute ("VALAC"). MercerTrigiani is registered to lobby on behalf of VALAC and has a long history of devoting time and resources to the improvement of the laws affecting common interest community associations in Virginia.
This site is intended to provide updates of pending legislation affecting common interest community associations in Virginia and provide resources to community association volunteer leaders, association members and common interest community managers to monitor legislation.
About the 2012 Session of the Virginia General Assembly
The 2012 Session of the Virginia General Assembly convened on January 11, 2012 and will adjourn on March 10, 2012. The 2012 session is a “long session” of the General Assembly, lasting 60 days. The reconvened session (more commonly referred to as the veto session) will held be held April 18, 2012.
