Lawyers Helping Lawyers Lawyers Helping Lawyers (LHL) is a peer-support organization providing free, 24-hour, confidential counseling for judges, lawyers and law students facing substance abuse or mental health issues. Organized in 1985, LHL uses professional staff and a statewide network of volunteers to assist members of the legal profession in Virginia who experience professional impairment as a result of substance abuse or mental illness. LHL is a Virginia non-stock corporation endorsed by the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Bar Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and Virginia Board of Bar Examiners. |

National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM) NBC-CAM administers a national certification program for managers of community, homeowner and condominium associations and cooperatives. The organization approves courses for fulfilling continuing education requirements for the CMCA certification. Many of the Breakfast Briefs seminars hosted by MercerTrigiani are NBC-CAM approved. |

Virginia Common Interest Community Board The Common Interest Community Board became effective on July 1, 2008. The Board was established to regulate Common Interest Community Managers and their supervisory and managerial employees. Also included under the Common Interest Community Board are the Condominium Act, the Real Estate Time-Share Act, the Real Estate Cooperative Act, and the Property Owners? Association Act. The Common Interest Community Board regulates the sale of new condominiums and time-shares. The Condominium Act and the Real Estate Time-Share Act cover transactions occurring within the Commonwealth, even if the property involved is located outside the Commonwealth. |
